“The Burn Shack”
On July 16th, 2009 Tommy Sharp (President/CEO) and Sam Rangel (Sales & Marketing Director) were in Forsyth, GA and conducted a “burn” on what we named the “The Burn Shack”. This structure constructed of 4 (four) 4’ X 8’ sheets of OSB Particle Board was coated with +/- 100 mils of ThermaCote® Special Fire Resistant Coating.

ThermaCote® used for complete “Envelope Sealing” of CASH (Caribbean Affordable Solar House).  The University of Puerto Rico (UPR) one of many universities from around the world competing in the Department of Energy’s “Solar Decathlon 2009” received a complete “Envelope Sealing” of their entry “Casa Solar”.
