On July 6th, 2009 Tommy Sharp (President/CEO ThermaCote) and SamRangel (Sales & Marketing DirectorThermaCote) traveled to the University of Puerto Rico’s main campus in Rio Piedras to apply ThermaCote® as the complete envelope sealing of UPR’s Team CASH(Caribbean Affordable Solar House) “Casa Solar”(Solar House) which will be entered in the Department ofEnergy’s Solar Decathlon 2009 (www.solardecathlon.org). This competition will involve universities from around the world who will gather at the National Mall in Washington, DC October 8th, 2009 and compete to see who has constructed the most energy efficient house.  “Casa Solar” constructed in Puerto Rico will be transported to Washington, DC and Team CASH is claiming ThermaCote® as one of the key components to their winning the 2009 competition.  Good Luck Team CASH!
